Services for Edith C. Abert, 87, of Mariposa Street, who died Saturday at her home, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Hadley Chapel of St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Welter-Price Funeral Home, 2649 James St. Mrs. Abert was a life resident of Syracuse. She was employed by General Electric Co. for 21 years before retiring in 1964. She was a communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral. She was the widow of Ambrose Abert, who died in 1937. Surviving are two daughters, Marjorie M. Abert, with whom Mrs. Abert resided, and Edith C. Brewer of Syracuse; four sons, Ambrose and Charles D., both of Nedrow, Arthur S. of Camillus and Harold R. of Syracuse; a brother, Charles W. Rich of Syracuse; two sisters, Priscilla Myrto of Baldwinsville and Evelyn Kren of Central Square; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
