Mrs. Hardy Dies; Funeral Today
Mrs. T.F. Hardy, Sr., 58, longtime Perry resident, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Edgewater Hospital, Miami, Fla., after a brief illness. Mrs. Hardy was visiting a daughter at Miami when stricken.
Funeral services will be held at the Perry Baptist Church at 3:30 p.m. Thursday (today) and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. James M. Teresi, pastor of the Perry Baptist church, and the Rev. James A. Ivey, pastor of the Dawson Baptist Church, will conduct the services.
Mrs. Hardy was an active member of the Baptist church the Sunday School and the Woman's Missionary Society for a number of years.
Survivors include her husband, five sons, Alton, Clinton and T.F. Hardy, Jr., all of Perry; W.R. Hardy of Griffin and Gaston Hardy of Macon; three daughters, Mrs. Hoke Reid of Vienna; Mrs. Julius Irby of Perry and Mrs. W.F. Fisher of Miami; a sister, Mrs. Essie Berry of Miami.
Gardner Watson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
