Canajoharie - Mrs. Ella Brown Neal, 73, widow of William H. Neal, died suddenly yesterday morning at her home at Ames.
Born at Hyndsville November 29, 1876, daughter of Wesley and Anna Smith Brown, she was a member of the Ladies Aid of the Ames Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Charles Bardall and Mrs. August Pelegran, both of Schenectady, two sons, Louis Neal of Canajoharie and Leslie Neal of Schenectady, four brothers, Warren Brown of Ames, Wesley Brown of Albany, Edward Brown of Sharon Springs, and Spencer Brown of South Valley and five sisters, Mrs. Miles Winnie of Sharon Springs, Mrs. Elda Beller, Albany, Mrs. Cora Jones, South Valley, Mrs. Helen Houghtaling, Sloansville and Mrs. Flossie Walrath of Canajoharie; five grandsons and one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Houghtaling funeral home with Rev. Louis Crandall, pastor of the Ames Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady.
