Paquette Eugenie Faribault Daily News 05/May/1951 Services for Mrs. Joseph Paquette, 87, of 535 Seventh street N. W., were held at the Sacred Heart church Saturday, April 28, with the Rev. Joseph Schabert officiating. Interment took place in the St. Lawrence cemetery. Mrs. Paquette died Thursday, April 26. Mrs. Joseph Paquette (the former Eugenie Durand) was born February 12, 1864, in Montreal, Canada. She moved to Minnesota in 1878, and on November 23, 1880 married Joseph Paquette. The made their home on a farm east of Faribault for 52 years. In 1936 they retired from farming and moved into the city of Faribault. Mr. Paquette died four years ago. Also preceding her in death were two children, Mrs. Joseph Schybiltzsky (Louise) and Charles. She is survived by four sons, George of St. Paul, Eugene of Faribault, Ernest of St. Peter, and Lewis of Faribault; three daughters, Mrs. James Haltak (Amelia) of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. J. E. Boswell (Georgina) of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Dare Rosemeyer (Lucille) of Minneapolis; 31 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Louis Comtois and Mrs. Fred Caron.
