Lois Kicklighter Curry, 87, passed away Monday June 20, 2016 at The Sutton Place. She was born December 13, 1928 in Glennville to Earl Thomas and Mamie Rose Kicklighter and lived in Glennville all of her life. She was employed with Life of Georgia Insurance Company and Glennville Bank for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher, Music Director and a member of the Ladies Circle. She is preceded in death by her husband, M.E. “Boby” Curry.
Survivors include:
Son: Glen Curry of Glennville, GA
Grandson: Joshua Matthew Curry of Glennville, GA
Brother, Talmadge Kicklighter of Jesup, GA
Sister, Earline Glisson of Claxton, GA
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm Wednesday at the church with Elder David Summerford officiating. Burial will be in Beards Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
