Mr. Timmons had lived in Albuquerque for 27 years.
He was a veteran, serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mr. Timmons retired from the Jewel Tea Co. after 40 years as a meat specialist. He also had a weekend knife business at the Albuquerque flea market for 16 years.
He enjoyed fishing in Call Lake, Minn., for 30 years.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Dorothy; three children, Linda (Greg) Mansfield of Belen, New Mexico, Patricia (Daniel) Puetz of Albuquerque and Tom (Debra) Timmons of Wayne City, Illinois; two sisters of Lafayette and one brother of Colfax.
Services were held in New Mexico.
Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and other family members and friends who he loved and and will miss him.
