Mr. Timmons formerly owned Timmons Meat Market on Main Street. Later, he worked at Tippecanoe Meat and Fish, and retired from there in 1981. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving with his widow are his mother, Mrs. Flossie Timmons of Colfax; two brothers, Joseph R. Timmons of Albuquerque, NM, and Richard L. Timmons of Colfax; three sisters, Jean (Mrs. Robert) Marvin, Beth (Mrs. Jack) Kelly, both of Lafayette, and Joan (Mrs. Donald) Price of South Haven, MI; also several nieces and nephews.
