She was born on February 3, 1858, in Ohio, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bowman, both of Ohio. She had lived in Ray County practically all of her life.
She was married to Michael Derstler of Ray County on July 19, 1879, who preceded her in death on April 15, 1903.
Survivors are: one son, Benjamin Derstler, Ray County; three daughters, Mrs. Butler Wall and Mrs. Ella Perdue, both of Richmond, and Mrs. George Coons of Orrick, one sister Emma Vandom of Chicago, Ill., 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be be held at 2:30 o'clock, tomorrow afternoon, at Todd's Chapel, with the Rev. N. R. Eveland of Camden conducting the services. Burial will be at the Todd's Chapel cemetery. Brothers Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
