Nancy Dixon was a daughter of Henry Hook and Nancy Miller, PA natives. She was born on May 19, 1868 in Clarion Co., Pa. She was married to Wm. O. Dixon and was a housewife. She died in Rimersburg, Clarion Co., Pa. on Sept 27, 1939 from colon cancer. She was buried in the Squirrel Hill Cemetery on Sept. 30, 1939. Mrs. Harry Burford of New Kensington, Pa. was the informant.

"Mrs. Nancy Dixon, aged 71, wife of W. O. Dixon, died at the family residence in Rimersburg Wednesday morning following a lingering illness. Surviving are her husband, W. O. Dixon; the following children: Mrs. J. N. Billman of the Butler, Mrs. A. G. Burford of Natrona Heights, Mrs. Charles Burford of Mars, Mrs. T. W. Mooney of New Kensington, Mrs. J. E. Steele of New Bethlehem and J. M. Dixon of Pittsburgh and a foster son, S. N. Weaver of Seneca. Funeral services will be held from the Squirrel Hill Presbyterian Church in Clarion County at 2:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Frank Snyder, pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery."
