Mrs. Laura Mae Burford, 82, of 107 McIntyre Lane, Buffalo Township, Freeport R D 1, died at 4:15 p.m. yesterday at Georgian Manor Nursing Home, Brackenridge, where she had been a patient for the past week and a half. She had previously been a patient at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.
Born in Piney Township, Clarion County, Aug. 12, 1887, she was the daughter of William O. and Nancy Hook Dixon.
She lived in Rimersburg prior to moving in 1929 to the Freeport area. Mrs. Burford was a member of Freeport Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband, Harry E. Burford; a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Iseman of Freeport; a son, C. Merle Burford; of Freeport; a sister, Mrs. Parma Mooney of New Bethlehem; seven grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. A son, C. William Burford preceded her in death December 28, 1968.
BURFORD - Friends of Mrs. Laura Mae Burford of 107 McIntyre Lane, Buffalo Township, Freeport RD 1, who died Friday, Aug. 29, 1969, will be received at the Charles D. Fullerton Funeral Home, 124 Fourth St., Freeport from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday from the funeral home with the Rev. John W. Foester, pastor of Freeport Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Freeport Cemetery. Arrangements by Fullerton.
