Frank Van Winkle
Frank Van Winkle, 67, of Huron, a former county superintendent of schools in Hill County, died in a Waco hospital Thursday morning.
Funeral services were held at Huron Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Elder Willard Morrow of Fort Worth officiating. Interment was in the Heath cemetery under the direction of Marshall and Marshall.
He is survived by his widow, one sister, Mrs. Etta Wornell of Blum, and the following children; Tommy of the U.S. Army; Wilson of San Antonio; Daye, Mrs. Buster Shotwell, Mrs. H.O. Polk and Miss Iva Marie Van Winkle of Whitney, and thirteen grandchildren.
