Margaret E. (Moore) Schonert, 95, of Claremont, died at 5:25 p.m. Monday, July 14, 1997 at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Kenneth Ryan officiating. Burial in Antioch Cemetery.

Schonert was born Jan. 17, 1902 in Richland County, the daughter of John and Clara Mae (Hill) Steward. She married James Durell Moore Dec. 27, 1919. He preceded her in death Oct. 12, 1951. She married Homer Schonert in 1958. He preceded her in death Aug. 7, 1968.

She was a retired dental assistant for Dr. Kermit Miller and Dr. Don Abel and was a member of the Prairieton Methodist Church in Claremont.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathryn Spitz of Claremont; one sister, Frances Jones of Pierre, S.D.; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a brother, three half-brothers, four half-sisters and a grandson.
