Born in Lawrence County, Indiana, August 17, 1910, he was the son of Charles H. and Nacy Ann Frazier Evans. He was married to Venita Evans and she survives. Other survivors include a son, Noah Evans, Jr.; a brother, Morris "Cott" Evans, Needmore; four sisters, Mrs. Ray (Nova) Allen, Mrs. Carl (Florence) Byers, Mrs. Charles (Alma) Ashley and Mrs. Dale (June) Underwood, all of Bedford. A brother, Wilbur Evans, was killed in World War II. Funeral services were sheduled for today in Redondo Beach, California with burial to be in Redondo Beach [area].
