Armeta McQueen, 79, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at her daughter's residence in Connersville.
She was born March 19, 1932 to the late Robert Lee and Ethel Bowles of Irvin, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Blevins, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Clarence (Beverly) Blevins, Thomas (Peggy) Blevins, Raymond (Wendy) Blevins, Louis (Cindy) Blevins; daughter, Louetta Faye Case; brother, Richard (Carol) Bowles; sister, Betty (Herman) Bentley. She is also survived by her many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as friends and family.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Miller Moster & Robbins Funeral Home, 1704 Grand Ave., Connersville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Rush County's Hopewell Cemetery.
