Ivan Dennis Osborne, age 81, beloved husband of 59 years to Delores Rover Osborne, adored Father, loving Grandfather and loving Brother, died on Friday, June 10, 2011 at National Health Care.

Mr. Osborne was born on June 29, 1929, son of the late William and Clarica Osborne.

He retired after twenty years in the United States Air Force Intelligence Department, he worked in construction following his service career and retired from James - Durant- Matthews and Shelley Architectural Firm where he provided quality control for construction of their designs. He was a member and former president of the Church Council of St. James Lutheran Church. He served as Chairman of the Building Committee during the construction on Alice Drive. He was the past President of the Graystone's Home Owners Association and a member of the McDonalds Nine O'clock Coffee Club. He was an avid bowler, baseball, softball and dart player.

Surviving in addition to his wife are: two daughters, Patricia (Patty) Ann Riles and her husband Alex of Sumter and Carol Lynn Elliott and her husband Kris of Greenville; three brothers, Rev. W.C. Osborne and his wife Allene of Turbeville, Hugh Allen Osborne and Addison L. Osborne and his wife Shirley all of Sumter; three sisters, Daisy Polson of Sumter formally of Bishopville, Elsie Speer and her husband Gene of Greenwood and Nancy Carroway of Sumter; two grandchildren, Shane Alexander Riles and Dylan Merisa Elliott;

He was preceded in death by; two brothers, Thomas J. Osborne and Charlie Osborne and a sister, Lennie Bryant.
