Hugh Allen Osborne died of complications of Dementia, on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC.

Hugh was a soft-spoken good man. He was loyal, a hard worker, loved his family and his friends. He was a man that would do anything for you. He was a lifelong farmer, lover of the land, friend, fisherman, race car driver, jack of all trades, raised chickens for Campbell Soup, loved mowing grass for his friends, made great BBQ and was an amateur wine maker and wonderful G 'Daddy.

His professional life included being a milkman, selling shoes and life insurance and being a funeral director for Shelly Brunson in Manning. All these before becoming a production manager with Exide Battery Company from where he retired after 25 years.

He is predeceased by his parents, Clarissa Jane Dennis and William Henry (Buddy) Osborne. Two former wives, Betty Logan Osborne, and Della Floyd Osborne. Also, by brothers and sisters: Tommy Osborne, Dennis Osborne (Delores) WC (Claudie) Osborne (Aileen), Leroy (Roy) Osborne, Charlie Osborne, Totsie Bryant, and Daisy Bell Polson.
