Mr Wolfe was born May 9, 1885 at Tidal, a son of John and Catherine (Unger) Wolfe
Mr Wolfe was aged 74 years, 9 months and 17 days. He was the husband of Edith (Rush) Wolfe, who died in 1955. A retired merchant, Mr Wolfe lived in the Tidal vicinity all his life.
Surviving are six sons, Harold of East McKeesport, Delbert, Wilkes Barre; Elmer, Indiana; Vincent, Rimersburg; Lester of Rimersburg anf Kenneth of Mahoning RD 1; five daughters, Mrs Duane (Geraldine) Ingraham, Marshall, Mich., Mrs Gerald (Willavine) Benninger, Buffalo, N Y.; Mrs Irene Wolfe of Rimersburg, Mrs Cliford (Marie) Benn of Angola, NY and Mrs Leo (Loretta) Zamerani of Seminole; 33 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs Ollie Toy, Pittsburgh; Mrs George (Etta) Lorenz of Mahoning RD1, Mrs Nellie Harris of Pittsburgh; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Two sons and a daughter preceded Mr Wolfe in death.
Interment in Tidal Cemetery.
