Norma Jean Ford Woodard, age 83, passed away June 8, 2011 in South Jordan, Utah, surrounded by her family.

Born July 12, 1927 to Willard Eugene Ford and Myrtle Roundy in Kanab, Utah. Norma and her four brothers and six sisters were all raised in Kanab. She loved her youth, all her family and her life in Kanab.

She married Dale Woodard, September 25, 1949, later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised their four children in Magna, Utah. Marvin Woodard (Penny) VA, Amelia "Amy" White (Ron) SLC, Larry Woodard (Sheryl) WVC and Cecil Woodard, WVC. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Larry.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, vacations and entertaining out-of-town family. Norma served as a temple worker for 8 years in the Jordan River Temple.

The family would like to thank Alta Ridge Alzheimer's in South Jordan for their love and care.

Funeral services Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 12:00 noon at the Riverview Ward, 5550 South 1300 West, Taylorsville, with a viewing on Monday from 6-8 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S State, Murray, and from 10:30 -11:30 am prior to services at the church. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
