Blenda Bryant passed away April 21, 2000 from a heart attack in Willcox, Ariz., with her children at her side.

Blenda was born in Kanab on July 17, 1908. Her parents were Willard E. Ford and Myrtle Roundy Ford. Blenda was preceded in death by two husbands, Phillip McLeroy and Ted Bryant, and a son, W.C. Thomas.

She is survived by her four children, daughters, June (Robert) Conklin of Carson City, Nev.; Joyce (William) Kremin of Vernal; Myrtle (Kenneth) Brunson of Pearce, Ariz.; son, John (Elke) McLeroy of Nashville, Tenn. She has 22 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

In later years, Blenda resided both in Vernal and Willcox, to be close to her daughters.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 29, at 1 p.m. at the Vernal Stake Center. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the funeral at the Vernal Stake Center under the direction of Hullinger Jolley Mortuary. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery.

Alvin Kramer offered the family prayer.

Eric Kremin gave the invocation and Sherry Martin offered the obituary.

June Conklin offered memories of her mother and John McLeroy gave a tribute.

Blenda's granddaughters sang "I Need Thee Every Hour;" and accompanied by Fawn Holmes, violin, and Hope Kremin, piano, sang "How Great Thou Art;" and Cyndie Fountaine sang "Remember Me."

Speaker was William J. Kremin, III.

Mark Kremin gave the benediction and William J. Kremin dedicated the grave.

Pallbearers were Mike McLeroy, Mike Holmes, Les Mecham, Eric Kremin, Mark Kremin and Joshua Mecham.

Interment was in the Maeser-Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Hullinger-Jolley Funeral Home with compassionate services offered by the Vernal 7th Ward Relief Society.
