Ida Belle Blake was born in Iowa, December 22, 1862. She with her parents migrated to Pawnee county, Kansas in the early days. She married Elmer Alexander Rogers, December 25, 1884. To this union was born one child who died in infancy. Her husband died November 19, 1935.
Aunt Belle as she was affectionately known died Saturday afternoon in Alva at the age of 83 years, 9 months and 26 days. She has been in poor health for a number of years and during the past year her health had failed rapidly. She was a member of the Methodist church for a number of years.
