Mrs. Soloma Ludi
Mrs. Soloma [sic, Saloma] Ludi, 90, of RD 3, Dover, died at 8:25 p.m. yesterday in her home on the Dover-New Cumberland road.
Born in Tuscarawas, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Geisiger Garver. Her husband, Frederick Ludi, died in 1942.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. C. O. Moore of Mt. Vernon; Mrs. Mary Shively of Bayard, Mrs. Ray Pyle of Somerdale, Mrs. Helen Ripple [sic, Rippel] of the home and Mrs. Melva Welz of this city; two sons, Fred Jr. of the home and George Ludi of Mansfield; 19 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Missionary Society of Bissells church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. (slow time) Wednesday in the home with the Re. Melvin Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will be in Fair Street Cemetery in this city.
The body will be removed from the Toland Funeral Home to the residence where friends may call after 7 tonight.
