Mrs. Susan E. Pyle, 65, died of a coronary heart attack Saturday night in her home at Somerdale.
Wife of O. Ray Plye [sic], she was a native of this city and resident of Somerdale 47 years. She was a member of the Bisel E.U.B. church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband are three sons, John of Dover, Owen [sic, Olin] of the home and Dale of Somerdale; a daughter, Mrs. James Foster of Strasburg; two brothers, George Ludi of Mansfield and Frederick Ludi of RD 3, Dover; four sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Shively of Bayard, Mrs. Curtis Moore of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Helen Ripple [sic, Rippel] of RD 3, Dover, and Mrs. Henry Welz of this city, and six grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Gordon Funeral Home at Mineral City with Rev. Melvin Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will be in New Cumberland cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
