George Ludi
George A. Ludi, 67, of RD 3, Dover, was dead on arrival Friday afternoon at Mansfield General Hospital from an apparent heart attack. He was in Mansfield on a business trip.
Born in Fairfield Township, he was a son of the late Frederick and Saloma Garver Ludi. An avid bowler, Ludi was an employe of Westinghouse Corp. in Mansfield retiring in 1966, and was a World War II veteran. He was a member of Tuscarawas County Senior Citizens.
Surviving are 4 sisters, Mrs. Mary Shively of Minerva, Mrs. Ray Pyle of Mineral City, Mrs. Helen Rippel of the home and Mrs. Henry (Melva) Welz of New Philadelphia, and a brother, Fred, of the home. Three sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Knittle officiating. Burial will be in Fair Street Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
