Mrs. Addie Downing Nance, 75, a resident of Lima for 35 years, died a t 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Homer Newland, 817 Fairview-av. She expired after an illness of three years.
Mrs. Nance was a native of Allentown. She was a member of the South Side Church of Christ and the Homemakers class.
Besides Mrs. Newland, Mrs. Nance is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Lura Shane 910 Florence-av.; two sons, Byron, 1154 Reese-av. and Russell Nance, Hasting Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Foster, Middlepoint, Mrs. Bess Everette, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; and three brothers, W.W. Downing, Ft. Wayne, A.R. Downing, Syracuse, Ind. and Dete Downing, 620 S. McDonel-st.
Fourteen grand children and 14 great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Nance will be buried in Woodlawn cemetery in Van Wert. Time of the funeral, in charge of the Chiles and Son mortuary, is undecided.
