Francis M. Nance, 73, of 1154 Reese-av. died of pneumonia at 4:30 a.m. Saturday in Memorial hospital.
He was a member of the South Side Church of Christ and the Borrowed Time club.
Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Homer Newland and Mrs. P.E. Shane, both of Lima; two sons, Russell, of Hastings, Mich., and Byron Nance, of Lima; four brothers, Andrew, of Caledonia, O., Henry, of Fernwood, Idaho, Robert, of Shepherd, Mich.; and Ulysses Nance, of Van Wert; 14 grandchildren.
Funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the South Side Church of Christ. The Rev. E.J. Benborwood will officiate. Burial will be in a Van Wert cemetery. The Body will be taken from the Bowersock and Chiles funeral home to the home of Mrs. Newland, 330 S. Scott-st. Sunday afternoon.
