He was born October 2, 1898, in Ryerson Station, Greene County, a son of George W. and Myrtle Gilmore Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a Presbyterian. He attended the Richhill Township schools and was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Dapertment of Highways.
For 32 years he was a member of Sunset Lodge, F.&A.M.; Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of New Castle; Syria Temple A.A.O.M.M.S. He was also a member of Edwin Scott Linton Post 175, American Legion.
He was married June 21, 1923, in Washington to Margaret Meyers, who survives. Also surviving are a brother, J. Raymond Anderson of Holbrook; two sisters, Mrs. George Shelton of Bridgeton, N. J., and Mrs. Duke Inghram of Las Vegas, Nev.
Two sisters and one brother are deceased.
