HOWARD R. ANDERSON
Howard R. Anderson, 69, of New Freeport, died at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 1975 in Greene County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born July 17, 1905 at Bristoria, he was a son of George and Myrtle Gilmore Anderson. He worked his early life in this area with the Peoples' Natural Gas Company, but later worked at the Republic Steel plant in Canton, Ohio.
Surviving Mr. Anderson are three daughters, Mrs. Kelly (Helen) Reed of New Freeport, with whom he made his home; Mrs. Garold (Beverly) Cumberledge of Canal Fulton, Ohio; and Miss Frances Anderson of New Freeport; two sons, Donald Anderson of Xenia, Ohio; and Ralph Anderson of Holbrook Star Route; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lenial Anderson of Washington; and J. Raymond Anderson of Holbrook; and two sisters, Mrs. George (Wilma) Shelton of Bridgeton, N. J.; and Mrs. Duke (Freeda) Inghram of Las Vegas, Nev.
Two sisters, Bertha Scott and Gladys Phillips, are all deceased.
