William Marlow Cone, Sr. was born June 2, 1795 in Bulloch County, Georgia to Aaron Cone, Sr. and Susannah Hannah Marlow Cone. William had eleven siblings. He was the grandson of Revolutionary War veteran William Henry Cone and Keziah Eudel Barber Cone. On October 28, 1818 he married Tabitha O'Neal Cone. They were the parents of William Marlow Cone, Jr. and Joseph O'Neal Cone. On Janurary 6, 1823 at age 27 he died in Bulloch County. He is buried in the Old William Cone-Barber Family Cemetery in Bulloch County.
