Deceased Name: ANTHONY T. "FRITZ" BAKER

72, of rural Decatur died yesterday in Adams County Memorial Hospital. The Adams County native was a veteran of World War II, retired in 1974 as a foreman for Hagerman Construction Co. in Fort Wayne after 33 years and served as Decatur street commissioner for two terms. Surviving are his wife, Cleona; daughters, Judy D. Hockemeyer of Urbana and Lynette "Jackie" Custer of Fort Wayne; a sister, Rosie McBride of Decatur; brothers, Richard F., Otto J. and Carl, all of Decatur; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services are 10 a.m. tomorrow in Zwick-Sefton & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, with a vigil at 8 p.m. and a Moose memorial service to be scheduled. Memorial services will be scheduled later in St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be with military honors in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials are gifts to St. Mary Parish foundation or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
