Doris Jean Campbell, sixteen, junior in the Jefferson township school, have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday in the Matthews Methodist Church. Burial will be in Park Cemetery here. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Campbell near Jonesboro, Miss Campbell died at 1:40 p.m. Thursday at an Indianapolis Hospital following an illness of a few weeks. Other survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Charles Shear and Mrs. Lawrence Hamilton, both of Wabash; Mrs. Burl Adkinson, Kokomo; Mrs. Charles Slater, Matthews, and Mrs. R. C. Wade, Fairmount, and five brothers, Lloyd and Harper, serving with the U.S armed forces, and Earl, Donald and Junior, at home. The body was taken to 731 South Main Street, Fairmount and will be removed to the Campbell home Saturday.Funeral services, Nov. 5, 1944, 2 p.m., Methodist Church, Matthews, Indiana – interment at Park Cemetery of Fairmount Indiana.
