FERRIDAY – Services for Helen A. Durham, 80, of Ridgecrest, who died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in Ferriday, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Don Tate and Ryan Manning officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under, in Natchez, under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Durham was born Jan. 15, 1928, in Winnsboro, La., the daughter of Solomon L. and Lissie W. Aldridge. She was a homemaker and was a member Ferriday Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Wilmer "Buddy" Durham; two sons, James R. Durham and wife, Lynn, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Ferris L. Durham and wife, Wanda, both of Ridgecrest; two daughters, Brenda Durham Taylor and husband, William Ford, of Sugar Land, Texas and Patricia Durham Poole and husband, Tim, both of Monterey; one brother, Charles Aldridge of Magnolia; one sister, Edith Reeves of Winnsboro; 10 grandchildren, Mike Durham, Cherie Durham, Kris Durham, Tyson Durham, Felissa Taylor Nause, Amanda Taylor Silberman, Samuel Martin, Rebecca Martin Burley, Jesse Poole and Alanna Poole; 13 great-grandchildren; and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Sam Martin, Jesse Poole, Tyson Durham, Ty Burley, Glen Micheau, Natahn Nause, Chase Smith and Mike Durham.
