Doris Grace Erickson, daughter of Hjalmer and Jennie (Hugos) Erickson, was born April 30, 1920 at Toronto, SD where she grew up and received her education. She was united in marriage with Orvid E. Rolfson on March 30, 1937 in Brookings, SD. After their marriage, the couple farmed near Toronto until moving to Sioux Falls, SD in 1956. Doris was a devoted wife and loving mother who will be dearly missed. Orvid preceded her in death on February 9, 1997. In the early 1980's Doris became ill and since 1990 she made her home at Good Samaritan Luther Manor.

Doris was a longtime member of Faith Temple Church, Sioux Falls.

In addition to her husband, Doris was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Amy Hannum; and a brother, Norris Erickson.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family for lunch and fellowship at Faith Temple Church following the committal service.
