Mrs. Laura Parrish, 67, died yesterday morning in her home near Fairview. She was a daughter of the late Fields and Savina Gump Parker; and was born Sept. 2, 1884 in Marion County.
Survivors include her husband, Scott Parrish; and seven children, Mrs. Iva Ammons, of Waynesburg, Pa., Lloyd, Earl, Wayne, Chesney, Paul and Billy Don, of Fairview. Three brothers, F.E. Parker, Adena, O.; M.D. Parker, Fairview, Rt. 3; and Scott Parker of Belmont, O.; and Mrs. Fred Secrest of Armstrong Mills, O., also survive. There are 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Asbury Methodist church and burial will be made by the Currey Funeral home in the Clayton Cemetery.
