Born July 23, 1938 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Carlos Reynolds and the late Annie Reynolds.
He was a member of Mt. Anderson Baptist Church in Maiden. Calvin and his wife, Brenda, were blessed with 48 years of marriage.
In addition to his parents, a son, Darrell Reynolds, four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory, wife, Brenda S. Reynolds of the home; two daughters, Rena Black of Maiden, Wendy Kiser of Maiden; one brother, Gary Reynolds of Lincolnton; one sister, Margaret Ingle of Lincolnton; three grandsons, Ricky Drum, Tommy Martin and Brandon Kiser.
The funeral service will be held this afternoon, May 16, at 4 p.m. at Mt. Anderson Baptist Church in Maiden with the Rev. Donald Cline officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, from 2:45 p.m. uuntil 3:45 p.m. at the church.
