Edith Hulley age, 85, of Bessemer, Al. passed away Thursday February 24, 2011. She was a member of Valleydale Baptist Church in Birmingham. Granny Edith was a hard working woman and was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Lee Grimes.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John Hulley; her sons, Thomas Howard (Jean) Grimes of Sharpsburg, GA. and Harold Douglas (Mary) Grimes of Hampton, GA.; Her step son Craig Hulley of New Jersey; her daughters, Wanda (Mike) Crosby of McDonough, GA, Monica (Bill) Logan of Fayetteville, GA., and Carolyn Denise Gunther of Williamson, GA.; sixteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters and extended loving family.
Funeral Services will be held at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home Monday, February 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Valhallia Cemetery. Sr. Pastor Calvin Kelly officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m at the funeral Home. Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
