Kathy Mae Aaron, age 58, died on Aug. 25 at her residence in Evanston.

She was born to William Curtis Ellingford and Luella Mae Smith on June 22, 1951.

She married William Grant "Bill" Aaron Jr., on Aug. 9,1975. She worked at the Dunmar Best Western Motel for 21 years.

Kathy enjoyed crafting and knitting afghans. Most of all she was a devoted and loving mother and wife to her daughter, Danielle and her husband Bill.

She is survived by her husband; sisters Eileen (Jack) Cornelison of Evanston; Linda (Bill) Porter of Evanston; and Terry (Darrell) Porter of Salina, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Danielle in 1996, and her parents and grandparents.

A funeral service will be held on Aug. 29 at the LDS 2nd Ward Chapel at Oak and Elm streets in Evanston at 2 p.m. Friends may call at Crandall Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 28 in Evanston, and one hour prior to the service at the LDS chapel Saturday. Interment will be in the Evanston City Cemetery.
