CHARLES BOYER FAMILY
Charles, son of Samuel and Lucinda Boyer was born January 10, 1866 at Wauseon, Ohio. He married a widow lady, Louisa Couppee, in 1895. She was born at Freeport, Illinois in 1861. She had a son, Albert. He didn't adopt Albert.
Charles worked on the railroad at Pacific Junction, Iowa and later moved to Council Bluffs. Louisa had a farm in Minnesota, which was sold. The money was put in feed, coal and wood yard, called the C.W. Boyer Feed Store. They had five children:
Harvey, born December 31, 1896. As a young man he went to Long Beach, California. He married, but didn't have a family. He operated the Boyer Trailer Sales.
Esther born October 12, 1898. She married Walter Greene. They run Fepco Theater Advertiser. He died in 1950. She later married Harry Humphrey. They continued to run the Fepco Advertiser until she died. No family.
Walter was born August 7, 1900. He married Lucille Schmidt, they had three children: Merle born July 27, 1923 (Mrs. Joe Wysap), Elaine born June 27, 1933 (Mrs. Eddie Knotz), Walter Jr. "Buddy" divorced, lives in California.
Herman born August 25, 1902, married Annabelle Albonyin in 1925. Had three children; Barbara, Mrs. Benedict Jacobellis; Sally, Mrs. Hale Baugh; Mike, wife, Sarah live in California.
Reuben born September 3, 1904, married Helen McMillan January 1927, they had three daughters, Janet born April 23, 1930, now Mrs. E. Patrick Kealy, lives in Nebraska. Donna born December 12, 1932, now Mrs. Charles Woods, lives in Council Bluffs. Shirley, Mrs. Charles Veoenka, October 1935. She lives in Carson City, Nevada.
In 1927 Charles passed away with cancer. Louisa died 1928. Both are buried at Council Bluffs. Harvey died in 1957 at Long Beach, California and is buried there. Esther died November 16, 1981, buried in Omaha. Herman died April 15, 1979, buried at Long Beach.
Charles and Louisa had ten grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren thirty-seven great-great-grandchildren surviving, also Walter and his third wife, Ruth at Mariposa, California. Rueben and his second wife, "Bea" are at Midpines, California. Both did some prospecting for gold in the mountains and were lucky. by Mildred Lincoln
