He married Myrtle Mae Rucker, born May 13, 1883, daughter of Ambrose and Mary Jane Rucker of Pacific Junction, Iowa. She died February 27, 1968.Their children are: Fay Ervin, born December 17, 1902 in Mills County, died June 10, 1956. He married Edrie Ellen McMullen in 1930 and one daughter was born to them, Edrie Evonne on July 6, 1932. She married Milton Charles Allen, Jr., born January 13, 1936, and they have three children, Michael Lee, born in 1959, Matthew Charles, born in 1961 and Melinda Edrie; born in 1962. Duane born in Mills County March 24, 1905. He died in December 26, 1968. LeGrand Orvin, born December 1, 1907 in Columbus, Nebraska, died December 1, 1981. He married Margie Jewell in 1927. She was born on September 17, 1909 and they had three children, Eldred LaVerne, born October 2, 1928, Darrell Lee, born May 11, 1931, and Margaret Juanita, born August 21, 1933. Eldred had five girls; Darrell, two boys, and Juanita two boys and a girl.
Leonard Elwood, was born March 13, 1910 in Pottawattamie County. He married Pearl Jensen in 1936 and they have one daughter, Virginia, born in 1942. Charles Harold born June 28, 1912, married Dorothy Dye and had five children. He died February 28, 1959. Marjorie Lucille, born April 3, 1917 in Pottawattamie County. She married Burl Thomas in 1941 and they have four children, Allen Ray, 1942, Rosalie Jean, 1945 Jeanette Loueen 1950 and Roy Dean, 1951.
