FUNERAL TODAY FOR MRS. HIBBS
Mrs. Della Ava Hibbs, 51, wife of Dr. Thomas Hibbs, dentist, who died Tuesday afternoon at the Hibbs country home south of Iowa State college following a long illness, will be buried this afternoon in the Ames cemetery. Funeral services will be held this afternoon from the Duckworth funeral home at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Walter Barlow, pastor of the Collegiate Presbyterian church officiating.
Mrs. Hibbs was born at Fonda and the family has resided here for several years. Dr. Hibbs is conducting clinical dentistry in Des Moines. Mrs. Hibbs was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Besides her husband, she is survived by six children, Helen, Dorothea, Phaene, James, Herbert and Gerald, all residing at home; two brothers, and her mother, who has resided with her for some time.
