Artie Adam Horath passed away Jan. 1, 1960 in Atlanta, IL.
Artie was born Aug. 14, 1909 to Andrew Isaac and Sarah Elizabeth (Lilley) Horath in Watson, the oldest of fourteen.
Artie married Augusta (Babe) Hawkey on Jan. 10, 1933 in rural Effingham, she survives.
He is survived by his wife, three sons; Artie Jean (Gay), Leon and Glen (Marilyn); three daughters Betty (Ted) Ross, Lena, and Thelma.
Also surviving are 8 brothers Irvin (Valgene), Alfred, William (Mildred), Carl (Dorothy), Vernie (Mary Louise), Nolan (Barbara), Roy (Madeline) and Leo.
Five sisters Susie Pearl (Clemons) Hawkey, Thelma Francis (William) Allin, Pansy Marie (Lester) Woods, Dorothy Elizabeth (Rex) Gordon and Nellie Berniece (Wendell) Bruner.
Artie was preceded in death by his parents.
