Nellie Berniece (Horath) Renfrow, 79, of Atlanta, passed away September 16, 2016.
Nellie Berniece Horath was born September 10, 1937, in Mason, Ill., the daughter of Isaac Andrew and Sarah Elizabeth Lilley Horath. She married Wendell Bruner in 1956. She later married James Renfrow in 1982. He preceded her in death in 2000.
Nellie is survived by one son: Ray Bruner of McLean and one daughter: Melinda (Don) Storm of Atlanta; five grandchildren: Brayden (Donna) Bruner, Zack (Ashley) Bruner, Natasha Bruner, Tyler Bruner, and Austin Bruner; two great-grandchildren: Natalie Bruner and Julie Bruner; and one sister: Thelma (Bill) Allin of McLean.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and nine brothers, Artie Adam; Irvin Martin; Alfred Sylvester; William Arthur; Carls Fales; Vernie Eugene; Nolan C; Roy Everett and Leo Glen Horath, three sisters, Susie Pearl Hawkey; Pansy Marie Woods and Dorothy Elizabeth Gordon.
Nellie worked on the farm and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church and Atlanta Women's Club.
