She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eastman Lawson; second husband, James T. Hilton; parents, Clarence and Elizabeth Wolfe Bloomer; two sisters, Nola Stapleton, Elsie Spradlin; three brothers, James Sam Bloomer, Eugene Bloomer, Clarence Junior Bloomer.
She is survived by a son, James Lawson and wife Dorothy, Chuckey; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Eula Bloomer, Gladys Spivey, Louise Williams, all of Kingsport, Joyce Fain, Rogersville; brother, Horace Bloomer, Rogersville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 19, 2002, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home Chapel, Rogersville, with Rev. Leon Barrett officiating. Interment followed in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
