He married Fanny Jett nee Branson on Feb 23 1879 in Osage County, Mo. I have been unable to find when Fanny died or where she is buried. Fanny was the daughter of Stephen Branson and Nancy Pointer, She was born Jan 1855 in Osage County, Mo. Her first marriage was to Newton Jett on June 25, 1871. Newton Jett died in 1874. They had two children, Amanuel and Delbert Jett (1872-1961). I do not believe that Amanuel grew to adulthood. William Jasper Owens obituary states that Fanny proceeded him in death by about 40 years. Anyone willing to share that information about Fanny Jett nee Branson will be greatly appreciated.
