OBITUARY - Mrs. Nancy Bright Skidmore, 76, wife of Jesse Skidmore, who died at 4:a.m. yesterday at her home at Flatwoods, Braxton Co., Wv. will be buried tomorrow. She was ill one and one half years of complications. Last rites will be held at 10: a.m. at Stone Run Church, Burial will be Newville Cemetery. Born March 1, 1863 in Harrison Co., she moved to Braxton Co. sixty years ago. Surviving in addition to her husband, are ten children, H.C. Skidmore, 316 Point St., Clarksburg, WV., J.C. Skidmore,Webster Springs, WV.,Mrs. Lone Ware, Richwood, WV.,Walter G. Skidmore, Sutton,WV., Russell Skidmore, Gertrude Squires and Mrs. I Radcliff, Akron, Ohio; Percey Skidmore, Mrs Elizabeth Cutlip, and Mrs. Nanie McCartney, Flatwoods, WV...three brothers, Jasper and Lloyd Bright, of Oklahoma, and Lot Bright, of Flatwoods, one sister, Mrs. Mary Hayer, of Oakahoma, thirty four Grandchildren and several great-children. Pallbeas will be 6 grandchildren. Harold Skidmore, Frank Skidmore, Adrian Skidmore, Kenneth Skidmore, Morris Skidmore and Hubert Cutlip.
Her parents were: Matthew Bright ( 1 June 1823 to 30 Jan. 1897) and Sarah Ann Davis ( 7 June 1828 to 28 May 1890). Submitted by: Bill Cutlip
