OBITUARY - W.G.Skidmore, 65, of O'Dell Ave., Charleston, WV. died Thursday, Nov.21, in the Sutton General Hospital, Sutton, WV. after a long illness. Mr. Skidmore has been employed by the Wv. State Liquor Control Commission in Charleston up untill the time of his illness. He was the son of Jesse Skidmore and Nancy Bright Skidmore. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sallie Skidmore; on son, Robert W. Skidmore, Dayton, Ohio. Six daughters: Mrs. Mildred Mollohan of Sutton, Mrs. Ava Dulin, of Charleston; Mrs. Charlotte Childers, Warren, Ohio.; Mrs Nell Stephenson, of Charleston: Mrs Betty Jean Clarkson, of Middleport, Ohio.; Mrs. Margret Steorts, of St. Albans; 14 grandchildren, Also surviving are four brothers; H.C.Skidmore, of Berlin; J.C.Skidmore, of French Creek, WV; Percy P. Skidmore, of Copley, Ohio.; four sisters; Mrs. Lona Ware, of Richwood, WV.,Mrs Gertude Squires, Mrs. Nannie McCartney and Mrs. Opal Ratiff?, all of Akron, Ohio. Services were held at 2p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Christ Church United Methodist in Sutton, WV., with the Rev. Robert Robison and the Rev. Carl Dodrill officiating. Interment followed in the Flatwoods Cemetery. Stockert Funeral Home of Flatwoods was in charge of arangements. Submitted by Bill Cutlip 2011
