NEWPORT NEWS - Mitchell C. Hudnall, 96, died Monday, March 25, 1996, at his home. Mr. Hudnall was a native of Kanawha County, W.Va., and had been a Peninsula resident since 1940.
He worked in construction, retiring in 1965 from Perlin Construction Co., and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Mr. Hudnall is survived by his beloved wife of 75 years, Ada G. Hudnall; six sons, Jimmy Hudnall of York County, Robert Hudnall, Donald Hudnall, Ronald Hudnall and Billy Hudnall, all of Newport News, and Buddy Hudnall of Gasburg; two sisters, Julie Karnes and Annie Roundy, both of Newport News; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Weymouth Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Weymouth Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. G. Thornton Hall. Interment will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
