John Preston Hudnall, 68, of Fayetteville Route 2 died Tuesday morning in his home after a long illness. A retired miner he was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mabel (Treadway) Hudnall, two sons, Ernest M. of Fayetteville and Tippie Edward Hudnall of Newport News, Va., three daughters, Mrs. Loraine Webb, of Fayetteville and Mrs. Arbutus Harper and Mrs. Katherine Withrow, both of Newport News, Va. a stepson Willie Nutter of Oak Hill, a step-daughter Mrs. Beulah Jackson of Gussie Springs, Va., two brothers Hansford Hudnall of Cedar Grove, and Mitchell Hudnall of Newport News, Va., a sister Mrs. Julia Carnes and half sister Mrs. Annie Roundy both of Newport News, Va. 31 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in his home, with the Rev. Ralph Parsons in charge. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park in Fayetteville. The body will be taken from the Dodd-Payne Funeral Home at 4:30 p.m. today.

John P. Hudnall Succumbs at 68
John Preston Hudnall, 68, of Fayetteville Route 2 died Tuesday morning in his home after a long illness. A retired miner he was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mabel (Treadway) Hudnall, two sons, Ernest M. of Fayetteville and Tippie Edward Hudnall of Newport News, Va., three daughters, Mrs. Loraine Webb, of Fayetteville and Mrs. Arbutus Harper and Mrs. Katherine Withrow, both of Newport News, Va. a stepson Willie Nutter of Oak Hill, a step-daughter Mrs. Beulah Jackson of Gussie Springs, Va., two brothers Hansford Hudnall of Cedar Grove, and Mitchell Hudnall of Newport News, Va., a sister Mrs. Julia Carnes and half sister Mrs. Annie Roundy both of Newport News, Va. 31 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in his home, with the Rev. Ralph Parsons in charge. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park in Fayetteville. The body will be taken from the Dodd-Payne Funeral Home at 4:30 p.m. today.
