Mr. Rodgers had been in failing health for several months.
He was a native of Clay county, spending his early life there, moving to a farm near Geff in 1924. About three years ago he retired from active farm life and moved to Geff.
Frank S. son of John Wesley and Emaline Rodgers, was born in Clay County Feb. 15, 1868.
He was married to Lilly Ellen Murray July 29, 1893, and 12 children were born to this union. Five children preceded him in death and his wife died November 9, 1954.
Surviving are three sons, Adron, Vernie, and Archie; four daughters, Evelyn Denton, Hazel Wilson, Sylvia Richards, and Nora Kirkpatrick; 38 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Geff Christian church with interment in Bestow Cemetery.
The Crippin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
