Mary Maria Adams was born to Edward and Adeline Maria (Perry) Adams.She spent her entire life except for a few winters which were spent in her sister's families homes in Iowa after her health began to fail. She made her home with brother Lewis and sister Lillian Adams in Elgin . She was taken to the Tilden hospital where she passed away.
She received her education from Park Center and Elgin High Shool. She was a member of the Park Congregational Church. Mary stayed with her mother, taken care of her in her Mother's later years before she passed away.She had a huge garden, raising lots of peanuts, had a huge lawn and many flowers.
Her brother Robert lived with her after her Mother passed away. Mary always had a cheerful smile for everyone through all her long illness and was a very patient sufferer.
