Lewis Franklin Adams was born to Edward Everett & Adeline (Perry) Adams on December 25, 1901 in the Mentorville in the Park Center Commnity. He attended Elgin High School for 2 years, was a farmer, served in World War 2, and when he returned from service he bought a farm. His sister Lillian lived with him, cooking and taking care of his home. He retired in 1960 and rented his farm out to his great niece and her husband. After his sister Lillian passed away he married Lita Elizabeth Cox Winkler. Lewis sold his farm and moved to Florida. He was in politics, going to Washington D.C. to speak before Congress, speaking for the state of Florida. He was asked to go back, but he felt "he was getting to old to get up and talk before all those people"
He died in Citrus Florida at age 83.
